Borrowing its name from the 1980 single by Joy Division, the show spends three hours digging through the alternative sounds of the 1980s, with a few 1990s artists thrown in for good measure—because influence has to go somewhere.
Broadcast on Classic Rock Z-96.3 The Lake (KZDY, Cawker City) across North Central Kansas—where the signal comfortably reaches more cows, wind, and open prairie than actual humans—the show can also be heard by people with internet access through the station’s live stream and mobile app. Because thankfully, geography doesn’t have to limit who can enjoy late-night alternative nostalgia.
